國家地理雜誌 攝影作品小嬰兒 Binti Brindamour

不知道各位有沒有去看過”國家地理125年經典影像大展” ?2014年是我最喜歡的一年，因為那年除了有幾個重要的展覽，我的插畫也是從這年開始琢磨練習。總之在看展的過程中，我用簡單的插畫記錄了我所喜愛的攝影作品 ((延伸閱讀))

In 2014, I visited the photography exhibition of “National Geographic at 125.” There, I was interested in a photo by Rod brind’amour. Written next to the photo was the words: “Anxious about the suds below, A young orangutan clings tight to Binti.” Hahaha! I thought this picture was very interesting so I made an illustration to record it.
而沒想到的是經過兩年之後，其中一幅攝影作品中的小嬰兒Binti，已經長大成人的他運用了網路找到了我!!! 原來他只是想告訴我，他很喜歡我所畫的他!!!不過有趣的是我一開始以為他就是那位拍攝的攝影師，結果聊到後面我才恍然大悟他原來是猩猩寶寶旁的小嬰兒XD 實在是太令人又驚又喜了!!而我們都是用英文作為溝通的橋樑，但我英文其實已經大不如前了，雖然很想跟他聊天，但想表達自己想說的實在是要花費一些時間去膜拜谷哥大神，所以漸漸地我們開始句點。
而即使已過了一年，我昨天突然靈光一閃地畫完他的肖像畫並私訊他!!!當他收到的當下覺得很驚訝也很喜歡，但是……..他說他前兩天去剪了超短的頭髮!!!哈哈哈!!!我們當下真的是快笑翻了!! 而他一直都記得台灣這個國家，他說他年輕時來過一次，只是不知道下次何時還會再來 XD PS:感謝插畫以及國家地理雜誌讓我認識一位來自加拿大的朋友T_T
 
In May 2016, this illustration made Binti find me! That’s incredible! ?Now Binti has grown up, and he has lovely daughters and a son! So cute !! Thanks to the illustration of my artwork and National Geographic that I got to meet him! I’m so glad he also loves my portrait works.
